Holy sh*t yall, Thee Burger Dude has some of the most incredible vegan recipes. They range from simple recipes made of pantry staples, to more experimental recipes meant to accurately mimic animal based products (i know thats not every vegan's jam, but is wonderful for those of us who like the taste of meat and dairy).

Ive made several of his recipes over the last few weeks, and not a single one has been disappointing. I just wanted to leave his website link here for people to check out incase they've never heard of him before.

Commenting so I can come back when I’ve got more time to check this out.

Agree. His vegan turkey roast recipe has become a weekly staple in my house. It’s the best way to make tofu I’ve ever had.

Lotta good stuff on his page, his carne asada is awesome.

I’m so glad he created his channel and site. Thanks dude!

I took a look and everything I saw was just using meat or cheese substitutes. Can you recommend a couple recipes that don’t have “vegan meat” or “vegan cheese” as key ingredients? Thanks!

His pot pie recipe is fantastic. It’s what my partner and I make for holidays.

I just made his shredded tofu beef for burrito bowls this week and it was great.

Made the Arby’s roast beef this week. Used it as a fake Reuben. Incredible. Also done the seitan turkey which was excellent.

I use his soy curl chicken recipe for everything

Totally agree, this guy doesn’t miss. I think he should have a food truck if not an actual restaurant. Get the menu down to the 4 or five best recipes and it might be super successful.

His cookbook Vegan Fast Food is also excellent!

Dude, the trick with these recipes is not overthinking the mimics. Just start with whatever beans or lentils you’ve got, toast them in a dry pan until they smell nutty, then build from there. Spring ingredients like asparagus actually make the flavors pop without needing expensive substitutes.

I make his “cheap and easy” chili all the time.

Absolutely obsessed with his instant mac and cheese powder! I always keep some in the cabinet for lazy meals!

Would LOVE if he did a meal prep series.

Dude, if you’re making the lentil version, don’t skip the freezing step. Pop your formed patties in the freezer for 30 minutes before cooking and they’ll hold together way better. Game changer for cleanup too, trust me.
