Soapstone on the right, cast iron on the left. French toast, eggs, and some maple blueberry sausage from the butcher. A lot of fun, and the food came out great! felt like Oregon Trail lol

I’ve never cooked with the lid open. How hard is it to regulate your fire without it taking off and getting too hot?
