Finally got motivated enough to make a latch extender for when I’m using the joetissori.
Not sold on the way I have it holding onto the bottom latch, likely going to switch it over to some kind of pin or key to lock it onto the bottoms latch.
Dialed in the down pressure first. Anyone done something similar with success?

– How I go for the same outcome -> After getting a basket I kept the original bottom grate and, using a little hook, hang it from the main handle. If you decide to market your creation (~$5, $10, $15?) I’d buy one – also would make for a nice (actually usable) father’s day gift to ‘hint’ the fam toward
Clever. I just put something a little heavy on the handle to hold the dome down

I just put a bungee cord from the handle to a leg

I just take the reusable zip tie I use to keep the cable of the spit motor tidy when not in use.
