Hi! I started my brandywines a little too soon, they are extremely leggy. Do I have time to start over or should I keep them?

Leggy sprouts are almost always caused by the grow light being too high (it should be quite close to the seedlings-almost touching them) and/or the heat mat being left on after the seeds have germinated. Whether you can start over depends on, as the other commenter noted, your last frost date and where you live.

I also got that same seed starter.. you need way more light than what those provide. I actually tested mine with an apogee par meter, and it’s just too low.

They should also be transferred to bigger pots, and bury most of the stem. Try to find a grow light on Amazon to grow them indoors until they’re ready to transfer

Not enough light. Start over. Live and learn.

Can you give them more light? That’s all they need.
