Celebrate the launch of Entrecote’s fab new book with a long lunch hosted by restaurateur Jason Jones.

Ever since its first incarnation as a cheeky South Yarra pop-up, Entrecote has been a solid Broadsheet fave. Currently holding two Hot List awards (for notable service and neighbourhood favourite), the French restaurant – now splendidly situated in Prahran – has been in business for more than 10 years. It’s an accomplishment that owner Jason Jones is set to celebrate in his upcoming book, Entrecote: Depuis 2015.

Broadsheet Access members are invited to help launch the new publication – part memoir, part recipe book, part decadent scrapbook – with an exclusive readers’ lunch at Entrecote on Friday May 1.

Hosted by Jones himself in “le conservatoire” – the restaurant’s lush courtyard section – the long lunch will feature dishes from the book’s autumn menu. Guests can expect King Louis XIV boulettes, pan-fried John Dory with leek fondue and herb beurre blanc, and a classic crème brûlée – all paired with free-flowing wines.

A live pianist will soundtrack the afternoon, followed by a Q&A with Jones and the Broadsheet team covering just some of the stories and BTS adventures behind a decade of Entrecote. There will also be time set aside for book signings and photos.

Sound good? Log in or join Broadsheet Access today to secure your invite to this exclusive Entrecote long lunch event. Access membership unlocks the best new food experiences, hottest exhibitions and exclusive giveaways in your city. Did we mention it’s only $12 a month?
