Nice to see you were able to get it figured out on how to load the charcoal to get it to run steady.

Close the door Brian, you’re letting all the stank out!

Hows temperature gradient? Do you have to swap shelves around much?

16 racks jesus. that’s a very efficient use of fuel. if I’m getting the smoker rolling, my general thought is to throw more stuff on there since it’s hot anyway… but normally when I’m cooking 2 racks I don’t decide to throw on 14 more lol. looks great cheers

  7. How’s the ribs where they are stacked? I’ve been doing ribs, butts, briskets and many things over the years, but I gotta admit, never had ribs or other meats laying on top of each other like that. Any issues?

What backwoods smoker is that? My old smoker was a gator that I loved but it rusted out. Attempted to buy new smoker from backwoods but ran into multiple issues/ delays. Finally received smoker and door didn’t open far enough to pull out racks….they used wrong screws to put door on. After a lot of back and forth ended up with backwoods finally agreeing to take back smoker and refunded money. Sad day for me because I really wanted another backwoods but after the way I was jerked around , couldn’t do it.
Ps. Ribs look great and creative way to get that many racks cooked at once.

More good looking racks than hooters! But less than twin peaks?

Been doing ribs for years, like an idiot, one rack at the time, with two probes to monitor the situation… babying them through the cook with a clever face and stuff… and then this guy!
