A great variation of slices. I’d say it’s perfect.

A deli i worked at years ago where you just put the baguette or Italian bread in it and it made perfect slices every time. Why change something thats not broken

    I, for one, welcome our — no I don’t.

My word. See you every single day forever, chef. (Also, honestly, it could be a skosh browner.)

needs mechanical anti kickback, no amount of programming will remedy this

programming is perfect, what you have here is a hardware problem. You can see the spikes at the top that are supposed to grab onto the bread dont fully make contact. Something seems to be blocking them. Maybe a leftover slice of bread? Reach your arm in there and try to dislodge it.

I helped build large machines for a living since 1975 and it’s obvious that the problem is a mechanical issue. The blade retracts too far and most importantly there isn’t a guide to keep the bread under control. I understand this is basically just for fun but it’s also stupid!

Just thinking, may be we don’t machines and automation for everything.
