A new Greek restaurant, EVOO, will open at the end of March in Legacy Village in Lyndhurst.
Headed by local restaurateurs Brad Friedlander and Michael DuBois, the restaurant will bring a “fresh, elevated Mediterranean dining experience” to Northeast Ohio, according to a news release.
The restaurant, opening in the space formerly occupied by California Pizza Kitchen, will use a scratch kitchen focused on fresh, healthy cuisine. A focal point of the restaurant is a 16-seat bar that offers guests a direct view into the open kitchen and open-fire oven. The restaurant will also offer patio seating and private or semi-private event rentals.
“Our vision was to create a Greek restaurant that feels exciting, social, and alive – where food, fire, and hospitality are all part of the experience,” Friedlander said in the release. “This concept brings together everything we love about Mediterranean dining in a way that feels fresh and current.”
DuBois said, “From the open kitchen to the bar to the patio, every element was designed to draw people in and make them want to linger. It’s a place to connect, celebrate, and enjoy great food.”
Located at 25365 Cedar Road, EVOO will join Legacy Village’s portfolio of 40 dining options for customers.
“The opening of EVOO at the end of March is adding to the exciting new era in dining that’s helping to make Legacy Village a key center of eastside dining in 2026 and beyond,” Susan Windle, Legacy Village general manager, said in the release. “Elevated restaurant experiences such as EVOO that are contemporary, upscale and unique are sure to be welcome additions for Northeastern Ohioans looking to connect for great cuisine, ambiance and experiences.”
The restaurant will be open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays, from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and from noon to 8 p.m. Sundays.
