Beloved Cape Cod Italian restaurant closes after over 20 ‘wonderful years’

A longtime restaurant that has served pizza, pasta and other Italian staples on Cape Cod has shut down.

DiParma Italian Table in West Yarmouth was closed as of Monday, March 9, according to a Facebook post from the business.

“After 20 plus wonderful years, we have made the difficult decision to close the doors of DiParma Italian Table,” the post read.

“This place has meant so much to our family and to our community, and we are incredibly grateful for the friendships, memories, and support we’ve shared over the years,” it continued. “While this chapter is coming to an end, our story certainly isn’t.”

DiParma’s catering services will still be available through the restaurant’s sister concept, Yarmouth House. Patrons were also encouraged to dine at fellow establishments Scally’s and Tap City Grille.

“Thank you for being part of our journey and for supporting our family of restaurants for so many years,” DiParma’s Facebook post read. “We look forward to continuing these relationships for many years to come.”

DiParma Italian Table first opened in 2008, according to the restaurant’s Yelp page. The eatery was known for its wide variety of Italian favorites from fried calamari and bruschetta to chicken parmesan, lasagna and pizza. DiParma also offered options for catering, delivery and functions in addition to dine-in and takeout.

“While dining at DiParma Italian Table, you will feel as if your in an old villa cafe in Tuscany,” the Yelp page read. “Our recipes and food preparation come from traditions developed in the Old Country. You may even forget your in Yarmouth.”

It continued, “We have been in the restaurant business for well over three decades, offering fine dining and traditional favorites prepared the way they used to be………from scratch. We invite you to stop in and see what all the excitement is about.”

The address for the now-closed DiParma Italian Table was 175 MA-28, West Yarmouth.
