I’ve been looking at getting the sage green travel mug (300ml) but I’ve noticed the lid is different (thank god).
I have a Nomad travel mug (aquarelle, 540ml) currently with the 360 drinking lid but taking apart the mechanism to clean is a pain, and I’d love to throw the lid away yesterday!
Do the new lids fit the old bodies, or are they separate?

I had a lavender coloured mug. It was beautiful.
I threw it in the trash, it stunk! Of old nasty milk and coffee. I purchased an Owala Smooth Sip 12oz Travel Mug. Best Purchase. The mug fits under my Nespresso Vertuo Pop machine and the whole housing simply comes apart for cleaning (there’s YouTube videos)
The two lids are not interchangeable, but if you really like the colour, just swap out the body. Slips in and out.
I never purchased the original design because of the lid situation. But I love these travel mugs with the new lid design. I’ve got one of each size. Easy to clean and the small size fits perfectly under my OL machines (Lattissima+ at home & Pixie at the office). If you take the sleeve off, the medium will also fit under the spout of the OL machines. The small & medium mugs work well with my VL as well (Roundhead design in chrome). Unfortunately, the large mug doesn’t quite fit under my VL machine unless I keep it at a very wonky angle. Love that I can just throw this mug in my lunch bag and go, no worries about anything leaking. And for me these mugs do a good job at keeping my beverage at the right temperature. I’ve had a few different travel mugs that worked great but were a nightmare to clean the lids. No issues now with the updated design from Nespresso.
I *cannot* get my nomad lid apart… I’ve tried, my sister tried and I even took it to dad. He failed me too, even with pliers. It stinks of sour milk and its such a waste of a good cup 😞
I’ve retired it. Can’t bring myself to chuck the whole cup, seems so wasteful.
I have the sage and it’s a gorgeous color and the size is perfect. But I can’t stand the lid, maybe I’m doing something wrong and it’s easier than I think.
