World Asado Day honors a long-standing culinary tradition in Argentina, where Sunday gatherings around the parrilla, or grill, serve as a centerpiece for family, community, and shared meals.
The event is presented in collaboration with the Argentine Beef Promotion Institute, which works internationally to promote Argentine beef and grilling culture.
Several chefs will take part in preparing the menu. Pablo and Juan Pablo Gimenez Melo, a father-and-son team known for curating high-end Argentine culinary experiences in San Francisco, will bring their multi-generational expertise in traditional grilling methods.
Chef and sommelier Pablo Ranea, recognized for his work showcasing Argentine wines around the world, will guide beverage pairings designed to complement the smoky flavors of the dishes.

Local hosts Max and Fede of Fuegos LA will oversee the event, helping shape the atmosphere with music and community-focused programming.
Organizers say each course will be prepared live over the fire, allowing guests to watch the cooking process while sampling a range of cuts and techniques that highlight Argentine asado traditions.
Live music will accompany the meal, adding to the festive setting.
