We have our own chickens so we don’t buy them and we keep the blooms on with eggs stored on the counter. People in America are so used to refrigerating their washed eggs, we get funny looks when we tell people it’s okay to keep them on the counter.

You don’t have to put eggs in the fridge, but in prolongs shelf life considerably in any case.

We have chickens, those eggs add up fast with 20 of them. If I had to refrigerate them all I would need another fridge.
