For everyone wondering how it happened, it was rethermed in the steamer or perhaps a combi oven. I’ve had these cambros in tilt skillets turned into makeshift bain marie for sauces with no problem. I’ve plastic wrapped these cambros to retherm product like cheese sauces with no problem. We don’t ever put it in with a lid though.
Oven racks would be too hot and burn holes in the bottom.
