It was time to retire the faithful MiiCoffee Apex. Did me good for two years but I was getting that upgrade itch. Pulled the trigger on a Turin Gallatin dual boiler. Overkill? Absolutely. Worth it? Definitely.
Starseeker Edge+ grinder still going strong after two years too.

This is a beautiful machine and I have never heard of this brand. How do you like it so far?
Fancy indeed–looking good there! Enjoy it in good health–
How was the Apex doing? What made you upgrade? Any complaints?
Looks gorgeous. What made you choose it? Does it have a pretty good sized user community in reviews, etc?

Beautiful machine. I was interested in this model too but during my research I came across a user report of high lead content from another model made by the same manufacturer (Gemilai) that gave me pause. Would you mind running a water test with your machine?

Nice sticker!
Is the paddle for flow control?

Just got mine today too and absolutely love it.
The Marx sticker is ironic lol
How do you like the Starseeker grinder?
Gallatin DB buddies! Mine arrived a few days ago, but in polished stainless. Only issue (?) so far is the hot water tap; I’m not sure if my steam boiler is filling properly or not but I only get about 4-5 oz of hot water sputtering out of the tap before it loses pressure and stops to pump again. Feels like it’s just a limitation of the boiler sizes and not an actual issue.
