Cherry size fave: Chocolate Cherry. Runner up: Sun Gold
Ive grown soooo many varieties of tomatoes the past 5 seasons. These are the ones that I love the most (at this time).

Favorite: currently Red Snapper. Runner up BHN871G. Hossinator is really trying to take the top spot and I may revise this ranking in a month or two when my spring crop is producing.
Cherry: Yellow Patio Choice.
I live in a swampy hellscape (southeast Tx) so most heirlooms do not do well here at all. Cherokee Purple was an epic fail last year.
The best yellow tomatoes is Valencia.
Best of all full size is hard to say, I love tomatoes
I really only started branching out last year after seeing all the interesting tomato posts on Reddit. Last year I grew Marglobe, German Johnson, Black Krim, Lemon Boy, Amish Paste, Indigo Rose, Purple Bumblebee, and Matt’s Wild Cherry. My favorites were Marglobe for best red tomato, Black Krim for best umami, and purple bumblebee for best cherry. That plant was an absolute unit and I loved the flavor. My husband really liked the German Johnson, and it was a great producer for us. But I didn’t like the flavor as much as Black Krim and Marglobe.

I guess I should branch out and try others, but we love the classic beefsteak and sun golds. There’s a Carolina Gold full size tomato that’s really good as well.

We LOVED mountain magic last year – it’s a larger cherry tomato.

I struggle to get much out of full size tomatoes, I think it’s too foggy/overcast where I’m at for them to thrive.
Sungolds do great here and I love them for cherry size!

I’m sticking with OG Cherokee Purple for favorite full-size. I’m really getting into cherry varieties just this year, so I’ll default with sungolds, which I’ve grown in the past.
Full size: Black Kirm, Mortgage lifter
Cherry size: Rapunzel hybrid
You can’t beat a good heirloom!
Black cherry are easily my favourite cherry size. Growing sunsugars this year as well so TBD if that changes.
Still learning about full size. Tried Pink Brandywine last year and wouldn’t grow again. Way too finicky.
For cherry tomatoes, I like Golden Hour and Dean’s Chickie Cherry a lot.
