Option O Lagom Casa. It’s truly like what they said – it’s as though Apple build this shit. Just incredibly beautiful and well crafted. It’s literally a whole stunning chunk of metal. Here’s hoping it lasts!

It bothers me that the cup is offset from the rest of the grinder.

Hmmm ..me looking at my wooden box grinder built in the 50s in West Germany I bought for $75 on Ebay.

I’ve been eyeing this one for a while. Good for filter and espresso or so so for filter?

Mine was on pre-order when all the tariff drama hit. Option O announced they were eating the extra costs themselves. Stand up move!
I have loved using the grinder. Extremely clean to use. No static, no noticeable retention.

My only small ding is there is a tiny lip around the base where the cup sits. This makes it so I can’t just slide the cup off of the magnet. I have to tilt it up over the lip. Bummer but I am used to it now and not worth fighting about. Curious if this is just my unit, or if others have this issue.

I’ve owned mine for almost exactly a year to the day. It’s been great for espresso, cold brew, and the few pour overs I throw at it (I mostly use ZP6).

From experience, I’ve recommended it over the DF64 and Niche.

I still stare at my P64 like this, four years later! Enjoy!

Damn you’re right. It IS incredibly beautiful lol. Is it a good grinder? Which machine would pair well with it?

Lovely machine. Since I do a lot of switching from drip to espresso I had to wrap a rubber wrist band to improve grip while rotating. Much easier.

  10. On top of the design, they also offer amazing quality. Have fun with it!

I’d probably stare at it for a week before actually grinding anything.

That sure doesn’t look anything like a home kitchen. Is this some kinda merchandising gimmick?

I have this in black for over a year now. It’s been performing great… Minus a little drift, which plumbers tape fixes.

Mine started having issues less than 60 days before the warranty was up. When I emailed them they offered a brand new unit as a replacement without much hassle. They’re a solid company.

I have a Barratza sette. Is this an upgrade (besides esthetically)?

My OCD is not agreeing with you on this one

Hope you don’t mind the slow grinding time like over 20 seconds lol

I have the Lagom mini 2 and I love it so much, so pretty

Work of art? I mean it looks minimal but I wouldn’t call it that. It’s very simple looking

I’ve had mine for 6 months. Use it for both pourover and espresso. While there are certainly grinders out there that are marginally better at each method, I don’t think there’s anything that’s this proficient at both.

I get clear, bright notes on pourover but still a balanced cup (rather than the laser focus of something like SSP MP burrs), and juicy espresso shots with plenty of body that stand up delightfully well in a Cortado. I hoped it would be the perfect grinder for me, and I think it is. Fits my palate in a way that I could never quite get out of the Fellow Ode I had before.
