First month working as a grocery decorator with no experience!
I dont get much creative freedom, but I’m pretty proud of how decent my cakes look, though i’ve definitely had some i wasnt proud of. Any tips or advice is greatly appreciated! (Especially with cupcakes…)
A little wonky but i will probably improve with practice

For a beginner you truly are a natural and should be proud! I love your flowers and, for some reason, your green garden cake. I’m sure your creativity is a bit stifled there, but you’ll get skills under your belt and maybe move on to professionally decorate in a bakery where you will have more freedom. As far as suggestions, I would look to your edging piping – it can get a little wonky sometimes and you want to make sure it’s even and regular. And, in picture 9, the piping at the base of the cake looks like you went one direction then the other, giving it motion, like a rough sea, unless that was the intention. But, like I said, you’re really good, keep up the great work! 😻
