Went to Burnt Bean last weekend. Was a bit cool and rainy and line was only 1h at 11a. Beef ribs (A grade), turkey (A+), burnt ends (A-), bone in pork chop (A+), brisket (C)
Beans (best I’ve ever had), sweet potato (a++), the other 2 yellow things I didn’t have but my wife and kids said were A tier.
Biggest disappointment was the brisket. They didn’t ask how I wanted it (would’ve said half and half), but it looked like flats were coming out trimmed really tight. Tasted good, but not #1 in TX.
We were nearby and it was worth the detour. Great, friendly staff and free cold beers in the back.
