They say the only certainties in life are death and taxes, but I’d like to amend that saying to also include The Cheesecake Factory’s book-like menu. We can always count on the chain restaurant to offer us dozens upon dozens of delicious dishes, from Avocado Egg Rolls to pastas and, of course, an extensive dessert menu. Yet, despite The Cheesecake Factory’s menu already being miles long, the restaurant adds new items every six months.
Six months ago, The Cheesecake Factory introduced its Bites & Bowls menus, complete with Meatball Sliders, Chicken and Biscuits, a Chicken Katsu Bowl, and Teriyaki Salmon. Now, the chain is adding seven new dishes to the Bites & Bowls menu, plus three new options on the main menu, three new cocktails, and a new bakery beverage.

The Cheesecake Factory is releasing its take on fried pickles with the new Pickle Fries. The appetizer uses Guss’ pickles, which are cut into spears, peeled, and coated with flour, buttermilk, and seasoned breadcrumbs before being fried. The Pickle Fries are served with a side of spicy ranch.

The new fried arancini are like what you’d get if jambalaya and Italian arancini balls had a baby. The app features spicy Creole rice, andouille sausage, peppers, and onions fried to crispy, golden perfection.

To the Bowls menu, The Cheesecake Factory is introducing three new Baja Bowls. The Mexi-Cali bowls are made with rice, beans, roasted corn salsa, guacamole, sour cream, and crispy tortilla strips, plus your choice of grilled chicken, pork carnitas, or Chipotle-Honey shrimp.

The Cheesecake Factory is also adding an Asian-inspired bowl with the Asian Tenderloin. The entrée starts with a bed of garlic noodles topped with steak, snow peas, broccoli, peppers, onion, and sesame.

On the fresher side, you’ll find the new Ahi Tuna Poke bowls. The bowls are made with sushi-grade ahi tuna that’s dressed with soy, sesame, and garlic, plus edamame, avocado, cucumber, carrot, onion, and ginger that’s served over your choice of rice or mixed greens.

Both the main menu and SkinnyLicious menus are getting a Veggie Burger. The regular Veggie Burger features a patty made from brown rice, farro, mushrooms, and black beans, which is topped with avocado, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, vegan cheese, and special sauce on a toasted brioche bun.
The SkinnyLicious Veggie Burger features the same patty, with avocado, lettuce, tomato, pickles, and onions on a toasted bun, and is served with a green salad.
On the cocktail side, The Cheesecake Factory is releasing a Fresh Cucumber Martini made with Ketel One Vodka, Hendrick’s, and elderflower liqueur with freshly muddled cucumbers; a Southern Peach Lemonade with Basil Hayden and Giffard Peach Liqueur and hand-squeezed lemon juice; and a Spanish Old Fashioned, which is the restaurant’s take on a carajillo with Licor 43, Basil Hayden Bourbon, Borghetti, and cold brew coffee.
Lastly, The Cheesecake Factory is introducing a new Matcha Latte made with matcha powder, vanilla, and steamed milk.
The 18 dishes are now available at restaurants nationwide. Typically, The Cheesecake Factory keeps the best-selling seasonal items around for a while, and the rest leave the menu during the next menu overhaul in six months.
I tried all 18 new dishes and drinks—here are my favorites.
My Honest Review of the Cheesecake Factory’s Winter Menu
The Cheesecake Factory’s appetizer and bites menus are my personal favorites, so the Pickle Fries, Spicy Jambalaya Arancini, and Asian Chicken Nachos really stood out. Not many chain restaurants offer fried pickles, so not only is The Cheesecake Factory breaking that mold, but it’s doing it incredibly well. The pickle spears are thick and only lightly breaded, so you get the crispy bite but still the delicious, tangy dill pickle flavor.
The Spicy Jambalaya Arancini really does taste like you’re eating fried Southern jambalaya. And the Asian Chicken Nachos have a delicious peanut-and-sesame-forward flavor on a unique fried wonton chip.
Other than the apps, I loved the Asian Tenderloin’s flavor—and the garlic noodles were unexpectedly delicious. The Ahi Tuna Bowl tastes really fresh and is loaded with tasty ingredients. And the Baja Bowls are better than anything you’d get at Chipotle.
As a blue cheese lover, the Little Gem Lettuce Salad really stood out to me. It’s very blue cheese-forward, so it may be polarizing, but the creamy vinaigrette, hunks of pungent cheese, and sweet apples and pecans really work together for a nice side dish.
Just when I thought I couldn’t perfect my Cheesecake Factory order anymore, I’ve added a few new items to my must-order list.
