


Hi! So my Nespresso Vertuo Pop has been my trusty companion for the past year and a half now. A couple weeks ago, the light flashed orange and I descaled the machine for the first time (I know, I know, I should’ve done it sooner). I was having a lot of trouble getting it to stay connected to the app, so I updated the firmware. Finally was able to descale it with all the proper fluids from Nespresso, and it worked for about two days before it just kinda stopped. It doesn’t make any sounds, just flashes white for a long time like it’s heating up, then does the double red pulse. I called Nespresso and was able to get on a video call with tech support, and after 20 minutes of trying and failing to get this thing to work, I was told it was going through a “remote software update” and it would take 24-48 hours. 80 hours later, it’s still not working. The app is also telling me the machine is getting “too hot” even though it’s not doing anything, and that the software is perfectly up to date. Has anyone else had this problem??? I’m this close to demanding a new machine, regardless if it’s past warranty.
