Know how you sometimes want a quick, easy-peasy option for dinner? You know, a girl dinner? In Vegas, that’s sometimes easier said than done. But at Carmine’s Las Vegas, you can get that through the end of March with its special offering, The OGD (Original Girl Dinner), at an excellent price (and no, you don’t need to be a girl).

This restaurant has a vibrant, energetic environment that’s based off the New York original, with dark woods, high ceilings and a two-story dining area. It’s known for generous family-style portions and delicious Italian food. The OGD menu, which includes a huge Caesar salad and shoestring-style fried zucchini to share, pictured, plus a choice of an espresso martini or a dirty martini for $28.95 per person, is only available at the bar or at the high-tops nearby. Both cocktails are quite delicious, perfect to start your meal.

The mound of zucchini fries is likely to be your focus, and rightly so. It’s perfect for grazing while catching up over the drinks. Even better, you can get a penne vodka dish for an extra $9.95, and it’s totally worth it. This pasta has a deep flavor in the rich sauce—it combines tomato, cream, Romano cheese, onion, garlic and chili flakes.

Dessert? Optional, but there ain’t nothing wrong if you feel like finishing up with cannoli (and the desserts are family-style, too, so sharing is the only option).
