Oh shit I posted it mid typing. Anyways, born in Kyushu, home of tonkotsu ramen. I was kinda suspicious of Jiro, it seemed excessive and unsophisticated but damnn I was so wrong my buddy took me to Jiro place (Butaboshi) and I haven’t been the same ever since. There are mundane copy in any style of Ramen (talking about you Butayama, Ichiran, Machida Sho-ten). You just gotta follow the locals and they’ll take you to the hidden sacred ramen temple.
