Fish shio ramen, chicken meatballs (shrimp also available), and grilled rice ball with mackerel at Menya Kaijin in Shinjuku, just a short walk near JR Shinjuku Station's southeast exit.
Broth was light and flavorful, and uses different fish depending on the day (displayed in big signs in the store). On different trips I have tried both spicy and regular and I like them both (make sure to try the regular one to get a better taste of the seafood base). Next time I want to try the clam shio ramen too.
