How do I open this kind of lid? I’ve had this hot sauce for two days and I want to try it. Lid does not unscrew.

You pierce the raised part with like a skewer

Horizontal cut of the pop-up bit with a sharp knife or cutting blade.

What’s the reason for not having an opening.

Haha I got this exact hot sauce earlier this week! I used an old steak knife to pierce it. It was a bit sketchy, be careful if you try it. But it worked. Sauce is meh and given the stupid cap I will definitely never buy again.

Doesn’t the raised part stick up above the outer rim? If it does, just cut it off with a sharp knife.

There’s a process to this I had to YouTube. You take a steak knife or something sharp and go parallel to the nub. The rim of the bottle is slightly below the nub and you use the knife flatly across the top to take off the nub. It’s annoying af.

  7. Take a knife and rest it on the rim. Then saw your way out. If you cut diagonally by accident then the sauce spills all in the lid when closed and splash your eyes when you open it. Ask me how I know.

I stab that little hole with a screwdriver

How do people survive? Can’t open a fucking hot sauce bottle. SMH.

Chefs knife. Slice it off like you’re taking off the gross end of a carrot

You stab it. Not a big fan, but occasionally to try a sauce I find this shit.

    Turn it upside down. ….

What a poorly designed product. I mean, you need to cut that circle part with a knife?

If you have to have a YouTube video showing how to open your product, maybe it’s time to redesign the bottle

Pipe wrench. It’ll marr the outside a bit, but you won’t destroy it.

One of the worst bottles of all time but a good hot sauce. I always cut it off with a knife.
