Growing in coco is awesome. All of these going into 1 gal pots sprouted about 5 weeks ago. Hopefully they will last for another ~2 months in these pots before they go outside…. I don't really have the room to pot up again so we shall see

This is my season growing peppers so my opinion dont mean jack but those roots look incredible
Coco definitely lets roots go faster, but I just can’t get the leaf/plant growth to take off. I started Peppers in January in straight Coir, feeding with FF big Bloom as they suggest. I started another round of peppers approx 6 weeks later in 50/50 CocoCoir/Happy Frog and haven’t fed them at all. The younger plants are 4x the size of those in Coco. Perhaps I’m underfeeding the coco coir starts out of fear.
Good looking roots!!
Really nice
Nice roots!!!
Best to water before transplanting but those roots are nice
I love growing in coco coir! Looks amazing, great job
When you transplant them do you do anything with the roots? Loosen them up at all?
Consider using nursery fabric bags, you won’t have to pot up ever again until you plant out in the garden and won’t have rootbound issues

Im in the same boat as you. Transplanted to 1 quart sized containers and hoping they do not get root bound by may. This picture is 2 weeks old.
