Hey all. I was wondering if I should thin my pepper to one or two per 3×3 cell? Or if I should wait a week or two.
If I thin to one or two per cell, should I up size the pot now? Or wait a few weeks.
And when should i fertilize.
TIA

Up to you really, I wouldn’t let them go in those cells for more than another week or two. You can thin if you want or separate them (gently) when you pot up, if you want to keep more plants. I think most will say wait to transplant until the first or second true leaves are up but I ended up moving mine from cells at the stage yours are at up to solo cups with no problems or casualties. As for fertilizing you could start now, some diluted fertilizer at 1/4-1/2 strength of whatever’s recommended on the bottle

I’ve had my best results up-potting when I start to see the second set of true leaves. I also start dosing ferts as soon as I see the first set of true leaves. Diluted ofc but still, plants need nutrients to grow. The best fertilizer I have found is mission fertilizer in a 3-1-2 ratio. Works amazingly well. Have giants in a month and a half on grow lights.

let ’em ride until they are taking over that cell! strong roots are the key to up-potting
