So my mother has this family recipes for enchiladas (not shown obviously) which calls for shredded cheddar cheese and chopped white onion.

She would mix them together and set them to the side. When I was a kid I would grab a pinch of cheese and onion and it would taste incredible.

Seen here is my stoned “healthy” charcuterie board dinner and I’m wondering if anyone else loves this combo in particular? The flavor reminds me of home and my childhood but I think the two go together like goat cheese and apples or other “ancient pairings” but I never hear anyone talk about.

That’s one of the most shark coochie boards I’ve ever seen

Interesting lighting. How was the photo taken?

  3. Without meat it isn’t charcuterie. That is a grazing board. I’m not a fan of raw tomato, but it looks good though.

I love cheddar and onion. Or cheddar and garlic.

Cheese and onion sandwich or in a toastie has long been a regular occurrence at my house and no doubt many others here in NZ.
