These were potted up 8 days ago. They were started in Miracle Grow organic seed starting mix and the potting soil I used is Miller's (local company, details in pictures). I am in Salt Lake City UT, zone 7b, LFD April 20th.

I have not used any fertilizer at this point because my understanding is the Miracle Grow had fertilizer already in it and the potting soil has nutrients as well, and I didn't want to fertilize when they were stressed from the potting up.

I think when I potted them up the soil was a tad bit too wet so I poked holes with a chopstick to encourage it to dry and it seems like they are just about due for another watering (top inch or so is bone dry, damp below that).

Is this just from the potting up soil being too wet, or something else? This is my first year getting seedlings to grow well enough to be potted up (and not be dead) and I'm freaked out that things seem to be doing poorly.

The other plants I potted up (some Marigolds, Zinnias and Eggplants) all seem to be doing fine so I don't think its because potting mix is "bad".
