TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Many Transportation Security Administration employees say the partial government shutdown is becoming difficult.

In Tallahassee, airport security lines are not as long, but TSA agents are still feeling the effects of the shutdown.

It’s been more than 30 days since they’ve been paid, and many agents are worried about their insurance policies being canceled since they can’t pay the bill.

On top of that, TSA agents in Tallahassee are still trying to recover from the last government shutdown.

Adam Fielder, with Fielder Tree Service, says he wants to help the agents in their time of need by starting a food drive.

If you would like to donate, you can drop food off at Fielder’s northeast location on Bannerman Road or their Capital Circle Northwest location.

You can also drop off at the Timberline Road location, across from Gilchrist Elementary School.

They’ll be open for donations on Saturday, and from 8 until 5 Monday through Friday.
