After three and a half years with a Breville Barista Pro, I recently made the upgrade to a dual boiler, the Profitec Move. Really enjoying this machine so far. It pulls super consistent shots, the build quality is excellent, and it has plenty of settings to play with to dial in the perfect extraction. It’s been truly a joy to use. Paired with the Philos and 200D burr set, Im making some of the best tasting espressos I’ve ever had. Super excited to continue dialing in this setup.

As someone with a barista pro and am curious about upgrading, how does this new machine really differ from your old Breville?
Been looking at the same set up – either this, or a Lelit Elizabeth / Timemore 64s. Significant budget difference between the two set ups though 🫣
Have you tried filter or pour over from the Philos? If so, how is it?
This is a super clean setup!
Sounds like you really enjoy the Move. Obviously the pairing with the Philos makes a huge impact. I’m currently in the process of trying to pick a machine. Just received my second Lucca Tempo that was dead on arrival. I’m now leaning towards switching to a Profitec as I’ve lost faith in Quick Mill. Now time decide whether I want the Go or Move.
