I just ran my pellet grill and during the shutdown process I noticed a lot of smoke coming out of the auger. I cleaned it a few months ago and used it once and let it sit for winter. I’m not sure what happened. Any advice? How do I recover from this?

Clean the fire pot again
Them pellets might be moist. The dust in the pellets cause backsmoke. When this has happened to me I empty the hopper. Vacuum it out. And is you can get a kitty litter sifter use that to load your pellets to limit the “sawdust”.
