What on earth happened here? First shell completely cracked and "exploded", no feet. Second shell expanded weirdly and also cracked, but third came out perfect (I accidentally cracked a little myself)
Idk what went wrong. I usually bake them on a gas oven at 160° (320F) but today I tried 140° on a electric oven.

    Were they all baked at the same time or did some sit for longer?

    Your oven is heating unevenly or has an air leak. Check to see if the door is closing all the way. Preheat for longer, maybe at 5 degrees higher & then reduce to desired temp when you put them in. Also use a thermometer to check the oven temperature & make sure it’s accurate.
