When I first got into sourdough in 2013, I couldn't find a solid recipe source beyond the King Arthur photocopy handed over with my starter. I scoured the Internet and came up with this book, which I won on eBay from a seller in the UK in poor condition and had spiral-bound.
It has lots of so-so recipes and a few gems. Many of the recipes do unusual things with sourdough if you're a purist, and the total prep times on the breads rarely exceed 2-3 hours in total. I haven't tried any of the cakes so far.
Today, I tried the Polish Sweet Bread recipe. It's a bit more of a cake than a bread (batter in a Bundt!) with a pale streusel on the bottom when inverted. My usual sweet recipe from this book is the Sally Lunn.

Let me know if there’s something you’d like to see (or something you want me to check for).
It was the 1970s, and it seems very on-trend for the era.
That looks really interesting. Out of curiosity, are there any apple cake recipes in there? (Or other fruity ones which could be adapted?) I was thinking of making one with starter, and would be curious about their version. Also curious about cheesy breads.
