An Italian restaurant that has been in New Albany for over a decade is moving to Jeffersonville.
JEFFERSONVILLE, Ind — An Italian restaurant in southern Indiana is moving a few miles east to a riverside property in Jeffersonville.
Bella Roma first opened in downtown New Albany in 2014. After nearly 12 years, the Italian staple is relocating to the former Game on the River spot, at 117 E. Riverside Drive.
Jeffersonville Mayor Mike Moore said on Facebook he is excited to welcome Bella Roma to the city’s growing downtown dining scene.
“We’re thrilled to see continued investment in our riverfront and can’t wait for everyone to experience all that Bella Roma has to offer. Welcome to Jeffersonville!” Mayor Moore said in a Facebook post.
It is unknown when Bella Roma will reopen in its new Jeffersonville location.
