San Marzano tomato sauce, mozzarella, basil, EVOO.
Honey Panna Cotta ($13)
Strawberry, strawberry coulis, almond crunch, basil.
After a middling pizza and dessert at Bestia last week, I tried the basic pizza here and found it quite a bit better: the crust did not dominate and was not charred, the middle was not soggy despite generous olive oil. Dessert was simple and satisfying.
Atmosphere was loud and talkative but not excessively so in the last hour (8:30-9:30). No trouble being seated at the bar.

Usually all pizza is good pizza but this one looks a little sad especially for the price.
Get the one with mortadella, stracciatella, and pistachios next time.
Their funghi pizza is my favorite pizza in LA
I’ve never tried their pasta. How does it compare?
