This absolutely lived up to the hype. First time buying chuck eye and this was a little thinner than I usually look for, but was still able to get an even cook on it. I can’t believe it costs less than flank or skirt steak. It’s maybe a half step below a ribeye in my mind.

    Half step below a ribeye because it’s literally just one rib away. They’re great. They used to be even cheaper but folks are catching on.

    I worked at a grocery store in high school, and the butcher told me about how great Chuck eye is, then I noticed it was never in the case, because the meat dept. Guys kept it all for themselves.

  3. Same. A great steak, you just have to maneuver around some tougher fat. Great beef flavor.
