    Crazy tiger stripes.

Fantastic tasting shot. It’s hard to put words to that very distinct “Kenya” bean profile. There’s not a specific fruit or spice nuance I can ever pick out, but I find Kenya to be probably the easiest to identify based on the smell and taste. So juicy and vibrant .

    Natural process blonde-med. roast.

17.5g in 39g out on my La Pavoni.

I always get an allspice note from Kenyan coffees. I guess it’s from the terroir but the weather cycles, too. They tend to have a warmth to them of old fashioned cinnamon candy without the cinnamon flavor if that makes any sense. My taste on Kenyan vs. Ethiopian is different than most peoples.

Kenya also grows purple tea, which is really unique in its own right.

Bro will spend the rest of the bag trying to replicate that first shot.

Kenya beans are wild. Every time I get a bag I’m like ok surely this one won’t be that different from the last African single origin I had. And then it pulls like some kind of fruit juice. That color is crazy.

    What roaster is this from?
