Gyro Hut has opened a second Katy-area location, officials confirmed.

The New York-inspired restaurant offers Mediterranean cuisine including various rice, salad and fry platters as well as sandwiches, according to its website.

The franchise has several Greater Houston locations in the Medical Center, Sugar Land, Park Row, Westchase and near the Galleria with others coming soon, officials previously said in an email.
