The South Pasadena Masonic Lodge is hosting a free Chili Cook-Off fundraiser to support victims of the Eaton Fires on Saturday, March 28, 2026, starting at 5:00 p.m. at 1126 Fair Oaks Avenue.

This all-ages community gathering promises an evening of great food, local philanthropy, and entertainment. Actor Phil Donlon will host the festivities.

The Cook-Off: Local cooks will compete for top honors, with the South Pasadena Fire Department serving as the honorary judges.

Live Music: Performances kick off at 7:00 p.m. featuring the bands Sunday Best and Jackrabbit.

Special Guests: Jackrabbit’s lineup features actor Dermot Mulroney, adding a touch of star power to the neighborhood stage.

While admission to the cook-off is completely free, the primary goal of the evening is community support.

All funds raised during the event will go directly toward helping those impacted by the devastating Eaton Fires.

“We want to bring South Pasadena together for a fun night that makes a real difference,” shared an event organizer. “Enjoying a bowl of chili with neighbors is a great way to help our community recover.”

Head over to the South Pasadena Masonic Lodge at 1126 Fair Oaks Ave., South Pasadena, CA 91030, this Saturday evening. No RSVP is required, but attendees are encouraged to arrive early and bring funds to donate toward the fire relief efforts.
