hi folks this is my first year growing seedlings. I have them in seed snail in burpee seed starting mix on a heat mat, planted on 3/2 but I have not fertilized anything yet. they just started to turn purple instead of the vibrant green they were and I am concerned. i had the grown lights only 1" away but just moved to 2" away today after noticing they started to turn purple. I would love some advice from you pros!

Are they in basement that gets cold at night? That might stress them out, and when they are stressed they go purple. Keep the soil warm.
I’ve used a liquid fertilizer called Sol Grow for about 8 years now. I too start with bottom watering after they develop their true leaves. Not sure you’re not overcrowding them at this stage though.
