Look, I'm used to seeing an additional charge for stuff, even stuff I don't think deserves it. But this? I've gotten this so many times, and now it's an extra $16! For what? It's pasta, chicken, zucc and lemon! That's it!

What the hell, this used to be a standard meal!
Compared to normal grocery shopping and cooking, Hello Fresh has always been more expensive. But now many companies are gouging where they can, I think HF and other services will be on their way out unless they can be more competitive with their pricing structure

I was saying this MONTHS AGO here and on the HF facebook pages and kept getting shit on for it… “glad” to see someone else noticing this fuckery!
Their upgrades make no sense. I got the Hawaiian tempura shrimp and it was like $9.99 extra each 🙄 I got it recently and it was so much cheaper that I double shrimp because it cost me nothing with $20 off premium meals 🤣
Doesn’t this mean you are currently paying for 2 servings, but if you want to add on for more people it will cost an extra $7.99 per additional serving.
Stuff like this is why we don’t use Hello Fresh anymore. We still make the recipes, as the recipes are all available online, so we just use that as the basis for our shopping list.
Yeah they’re either price gouging or they’re increasing the price of some meals to keep the base price down. My money is on a bit of both. I’ve noticed several meals I used to get regularly are now extra.
