This would earn a “pass” if the other option were “fail”.

Full disclosure: the best steaks I’ve EVER cooked came from Costco. Nice work!

Solid A -. I like it a little more rare amd the fat on the end seems a bit under-rendered.

    Tongs: F -. Gross.

I’m very indifferent to the ‘blade tenderizing’ that has others inflamed re Costco; their Choice and Prime cuts are typically very good.

  9. I get like 99% of my steaks from Costco and their NY Strips are incredible. Great cook on that steak, and the chimichurri looks amazing

Costco steaks are generally well regarded. Yours looks super tasty and perfectly cooked. A+

Costco has some damn good steaks (& meat). I get most of my meat there. Brisket, pork shoulder, ribs, ribeye roast, pork belly, etc

Looks great, but pre-slicing it up like that just makes it get cold faster

I would give it a C minus or D plus.
