Enjoying this Bethel Heights estate Chardonnay from Eola-Amity Hills. Just gorgeous stuff, a real showstopper for under $40.

Expressive complex nose of yellow apple, lemon curd, white flowers. On the palate, rich and luscious with high acidity, salty minerality and great length. I have to say that when it comes to new world Chardonnay, the best examples I’ve had have come from Oregon.

Love their Pinots, but I get a lot of burnt popcorn on this. I think that is their intention, just not my style

oregon chardonnays seriously hit different, they’ve got that perfect balance of richness and acidity. bethel heights always seems to deliver, might need to snag a bottle soon!
