I’ve always wanted to do this, how much did it cost?

The Peninsula Hotel is way better for this.

If anyone wants to try a Ritz patisserie in Paris but doesn’t want to pay for the full tea time, head on over to Ritz le Comptoir where you can purchase individual ones. They also sell one of the most expensive jambon beurre (ham and butter sandwiches, a Parisian specialty) but it’s actually kind of ingenious how they make it (if you have money to burn)

I see lots of tasty looking items and I also see no tea

While I appreciate the quantity of food (and it does look tasty!) I wish they would’ve tried a little harder with the presentation. Cramming all those cakes on like that takes away from the charm of afternoon tea.

I did Afternoon Tea there with my mum a few years ago, but stupidly didn’t realise it was just all sweet stuff – so pastries, cakes, chocolate etc.

I felt absolutely sick by the end of it.

God knows why I didn’t check the menu properly, I just assumed sandwiches were also included?

It cost me £85 per person.

  7. Is it rude to eat everything + every last crumb?

It’s all very brown. Would have thought they’d try harder with presentation

What were the savory items? All I am seeing is sweet here.
