I live in a small flat in the city so I can’t use up too much kitchen counter space.

Left – decent DE1 pro

Right – df64v gen2

This seemed like the best grinder for the size.

I upgraded from the sage barista express that I had for 2.5years.

The espresso tastes amazing, and I love the different espresso profiles on the decent.

Can you help rate my setup. What would you change or have done differently?

I bought the df64 over niche because of the dice and flat burrs for possible pour overs.

As long as you like it is all that matters at the end of the day. But yeah, nice. 🙂

If you can afford it and have fun with this hobby, that’s perfectly fine. I have ordered something similar, Maro Model 1, because I want to have flow and pressure profiles. I saved a long time for such a machine and can’t wait to get it.

    Congrats to your setup.

Nice, i have the gaggiuino.. but learned throughout the years that i mostly prefer dark roast. And all those fancy shit dont matter that much with dark roast.

So if i ever buy a new machine, ill ho back to something that looks nice in my opinion. Like a Lelit bianca..

But we will see.. im happy with this setup and it makes great espresso. Nice dark, chocolate, caramel goodness.
