FAIRFIELD — Millennium Restaurant & Bar has been offering Fairfield a pick of Brazilian and Italian-based eats to mix up their palates a bit.
According to the restaurant’s Instagram page, it held its grand opening at 601 Kings Highway East in December.
The restaurant’s menu, according to items posted on Instagram, includes a steak and egg combo, prime rib, mashed potatoes, grilled chicken, penne alla vodka, pizza, chicken, french fries, cappuccinos, wine, and mojitos.
Fairfield Director of Community and Economic Development Mark Barnhart confirmed the restaurant officially opened at the end of last year, adding it is owned by Luciano Martins de Oliveira of Shelton, per Health Department records.
A ribbon-cutting event has not yet taken place for the budding business, but Barnhart says the city is looking forward to holding one if the owner chooses.
“We’re always delighted to welcome a new business to Fairfield and for Millennium to join our already vibrant Fairfield dining scene,” Barnhart said. “And we wish them much success in their new business venture.”
