State police at Tunkhannock are investigating the reported theft of used cooking oil from a Nicholson Twp. restaurant last week.
According to a news release state police issued Sunday:
Sometime between March 25 and March 27, someone removed about 250 gallons of used oil, valued at $62.50, from a holding tank belonging to Buffalo Bio Diesel, of Buffalo, New York.
Police listed the location of the incident as 145 Pedrick Road, which is the address of Lake Sheridan Bar & Grill. The suspects fled the scene in an unknown direction, undetected, police said.
