May, 1962. An architect of the Holocaust sits in an Israeli prison, sentenced to death for crimes against humanity. After years in hiding in Argentina, he was captured by Mossad and brought to trial in Israel.

When his final meal was placed in front of him, he rejected it…why?

Recipe:
Ramla Lentil Stew
Serves 6–8

Ingredients
2 tablespoons vegetable oil or margarine
2 medium onions, finely chopped
1 medium potato, cubed
1 medium carrot, diced
1 1/2 cups red lentils, rinsed
8 cups water
1 1/2–2 teaspoons salt
1/2 teaspoon cumin
1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Method
Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add onions and cook 5–7 minutes until soft. Add potato and carrot and stir 2–3 minutes. Add lentils and stir briefly. Pour in water, add cumin and pepper, and bring to a boil. Skim foam, reduce to a gentle simmer, and cook 25–30 minutes until lentils break down. Add salt toward the end. Leave rustic or mash slightly for a smoother texture.

  1. He was Sentenced due to Crimes against Humanity by The same Country Who does Crimes Against Humanity.

  2. If you really think about human history, half of it is just two people attacking each other like proverbial siblings. Person A gets attacked by B. Years/decades/centuries pass by, A is strong and attacks B, B does the same and so on and so forth.
