The glass on the side is broken and can’t build pressure enough pressure but it heats up. I bought the glass off of eBay. I just thought it looked cool and figured I’d take it home. I don’t know anything about this sorta stuff and would love some help/recommendations, thanks!

Man, I think I would. Not for everyday use but as a conversation piece. “ Ah, this old thing? Yep, been in the family for generations.” Then proceeds to pull a shot.

I think I would try. Maybe you can get away with a non-glass tube or find more info on how these things are set up. Go for it!

Recently saw a review on those machines, seems they are as simple as they are reliable and still being sold for quite a price new. Search for “La Pavoni”.
I would fix it and use it. I love it, it’s awesome.

That’s a Zacconi – not a La Pavoni. That’s one of the original models. The company is still in existence, but run by different people, I believe.

I have a newer Zacconi and I love it! And the people in r/LaPavoniLovers have been really nice and helpful. As far as I can tell, there is no Zacconi group online.
