Executive chef (and eight-time “Chopped” Champion) Demetrio Zavala is whipping up exclusive brunch specials for Easter weekend. Available from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, guests can look forward to a carrot cake waffle topped with whipped vanilla cream cheese, and heirloom carrot shakshuka, and pan-fried halibut. On April 1 and 2, the Brazilian Court restaurant will celebrate Passover with a Seder meal from 5:30 to 10 p.m. Appetizers include matzo ball soup, beet carpaccio, and smoked salmon, and for entrees choose between a branzino or braised short ribs. The dinner is $150 per person.
For Easter, Café Boulud will host a prix-fixe brunch that includes oysters, burrata, bluefin tuna tartare, with main courses shakshuka, eggs florentine, or buttermilk pancakes. Brunch is $165 per person and $75 for kids. The restaurant will also host an Easter egg hunt and meet-and-greets with the Easter Bunny.

The Italian market is offering dinner packages for both Easter and Passover. The Passover dinner package includes either a brisket dinner with carrot and sweet potato tzimmes, and a choice of potato pancakes or roasted potatoes ($24.95 per person) or a package with matzo ball soup, chopped liver, carrot and sweet potato tzimmes, green bean almondine and kugel, and either beef brisket or roasted chicken ($34.95 per person).
For Easter, choose between a traditional package that serves between eight to 10 and includes a brown sugar glazed spiral ham, meat lasagna, choice of tossed or Caesar salad, carrots and green bean almondine, and dinner rolls ($199.99) or a brown sugar glazed spiral ham, Italian style roasted potatoes, carrots and green bean almondine, tossed salad and dinner rolls priced at $19.99 per person.
